1Really Bad GuitarDec 05, 2009

Zero Stars!

I ordered the black Acoustic Guitar by Rogue from the Amazon Merchant, Toolprice, and was sent this guitar, instead. My first thought was that it would still be alright for a young child's gift. So, I tried to tune the guitar and found that the harmonics are off and it's very noticeable to the ear. You can tune the open strings, but as you move up the fretboard the strings sound further and further from the proper notes. What this means is the guitar will never sound right when played. Also, the finish was chipped in several places and repainted with a flat black.

So, the guitar sounds bad and looks bad. There's no point in purchasing this guitar. I'll review the Rogue Starter Guitar after it arrives.
