I just put this thing together nd have this to say about it:

A very good learning experience. You can really appreciate how your guitar works. The quality was uneven.

The body is very good, being real wood. The neck is OK but the frets were sharp and uneven. I will have to learn to do a fret job. If left as is, the guitar would be unplayable.

The nut was way too high and made the action way too high. I just found out that I can't do it myself, unless I buy a special nut file that costs about $100 for the kit.

The bridge pickup didn't work well. Its output was MUCH lower than the others. The external wiring seems OK, so it must be a bad part.

The screw holes weren't that straight and I had to plug and redrill two of the neck attachment holes.

The tuners certainly aren't Gotohs, but they seem to work although they do bind a bit.

All in all great for a learning experience. You might want to upgrade the neck, but the body seems that it could be used for many years worth of upgrades since it is real wood. Nowadays, cheap guitars are made of cardboard or plywood.

The guitar is fine and enjoyable to assemble. The only thing is that I was only given 5 strings... Other than that it's a good buy.

But I still need the B String....
