This is the replacement head for a Doumbek I bought a dozen years ago- after installing it and tuning it, it sounds as great as the original (which lasted a dozen years of camping and abuse)

The Head is made with very poor material, instead of one clean circular piece of aluminum holding it, it consists of two overlapping pieces that prevent the head from going onto the instrument. So, not only was it poor quality, the head did not even fit. The best thing about the whole process was the shipping, it got here in 3 days, not bad. But overall, it was a poor decision buying from here.
