I had worked with this light for about a year before I purchased it and I knew it would be the next light I bought. It illuminates a large room brighter better than 2-3 of my old lights combined. There are ednless customizations you can do with the light with a controller but even if you don't do that the premade settings it comes with are quite a light show. The advancement in LED lights for this product has made a large difference in performance, range, and more importantly durability. I was so tired of replacing bulbs in the older models, with LEDS I don't have to worry about that anymore. This is a great light and I save a few bucks buying here than buying from a major music instrument chain.

Works well with two. Lighting is very bright, and covers huge areas. Stand alone works well linked up. Pool parties look wild, and shines across the property. the lights are staionary on the floor or ceiling, but the light beams are amazing.

I would not have believed how bright the led's were, until I saw them for myself. This is one of the best investments I've made for my mobile DJ business. The Quad Gem is everything that American DJ promises. I am even thinking of investing in a second unit in the near future. In closing... LED is the way of the future in lighting... less heat, less power (electricity) needed, less weight, and most importantly, MORE and BRIGHTER lights!

Very bright and jams to beat of music. No work or programming needed. BUT, you need to have a speaker near it with pumping music- the microphone doesn't pick up weak volume. Had outside disco party and this thing lit up the place along with fog machine, H2o light, galaxy laser (also awesome!), hypnotic laser (awesome), and fog machine. Backyard patio is now Studio 54! Highly recommend.

I have two of these which I use at least 5 times a week in my mobile karaoke and DJ shows. One is suspended from one of my light bars and the other I ste on the floor and aim it at the wall behind the show. I set them both to run independently and I also use a haze generator which really makes these lights pop. I play big venues and stages and this light covers a very large area with nice bright lights. I've been using one of these continuosly for over 2 years and the other about a year and a half. Both have been trouble free. Spend the money and get this light.
