I bought this as a beginner guitar, just something to learn on and play around with. I already have a Fender bass so I thought I'd try and finger out the electric guitar. The sound quality isn't that bad, and it stayed in tune pretty well. The amp is pretty small, maybe 15 inches in height and width and maybe 6 inches thick, but it was really nice for toting around and traveling with. The amp has a distortion button on it which was fun, but not really great quality. It comes with an extra string, pick, strap, and carrying case. The carrying case is not usable at all, I had to throw it away, it was like using a plastic bag to carry aroung my guitar and it was really dirty and dusty...but that is really not a big deal, most packages come with a less-than-great carrying case, so I suggest that you keep that in mind when you purchase this guitar, you'll have to separately buy a reliable case if you want to carry it around. The strap isn't the greatest either, but it's to be expected from this type of purchase. It is usable, I have used it many times, but if you want a super comfortable strap - plan on buying that separately as well. I've also dropped this guitar a few times and it stayed in tune!
The bottom line is that this is actually a pretty great deal for a beginner. It comes with an amp which is a *huge* bonus, and the amp works very well. It's PINK which is also a plus. :) It sounds pretty good, is sturdy, and is overall an awesome guitar package for the price.

I was a little worried when I read the reviews on this guitar. Some were good and some were bad. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. The color IS pink and very cute for a 10 yr old little girl. The amp is a nice size and works well for the beginner that she is. Our guitar came with an amp cord (even though I went and bought one as a result of the feedback posted) and had a pic, extra string and two tightening tools. There is one piece of metal that I don't know what to do with but will figure it out when I have more time. The case is not bad...not great but fine for covering to keep the guitar protected. The strap is a bit cheap but can be upgraded so not too concerned. Overall, a great buy for the price. The only regret is when I did a search for this guitar after I received it, I saw more guitars that originally I didn't see on line when I ordered it. They were also pink and from Austin Bazaar and included tuners, instructional video/book, etc., for the same price so I recommend you do a search in Amazon by actually typing in "Austin Bazaar electric guitar"...not just "electric guitar". Otherwise, this is a great purchase. The shipping was fed ex and very quick during this Christmas season!

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. I wish I had opened the boxes before then as I found that the cord to plug the guitar in to the amp is not included so she couldn't play it on her birthday. Also, had an extra part that I have yet to figure out what it goes to. Amp was shipped separately so don't panic if they don't show up the same day. Good for the price.

When i first saw the Guitar on line, I really thought thats a great price.
I went to several differrent stores and could not find a pink one. And when i found one it was over priced and no Amp came with it.So i came on to you guys and found it and got very exciated. So when it came i was thrilled it is very well made, IT'S JUST BEAUTIFUL!! And on christmas day
my 10 yr old grandaughter had a room full of toys to open, and she ran to the pink Guitar first and was so exciated. It's a great product and i'm very happy that i found it. My grandaughters face told it all. ......

My daughter loves this set. The pink isnt quite as pink as shown, but she likes it so that is what counts. It is a very nice quality for the price paid. You do need to get a tuner ($10-15) since they dont arrive tuned. I didnt know the difference until she tuned it...wow, huge improvement for the mom's eardrums!! After the family gets tired of hearing her rock out, she just plugs in her headphones to the amp....nice option!! Ours did come with an amp cable, very short one. I had already purchased the 20ft Daisy black and pink guitar cable since other reviews said no amp cable and the details also didnt included it. She likes The Daisy cable alot better since its girly and longer.
