Don't get me wrong. I have enjoyed this ukulele and played it every day since I got it last August. It has a bright sound and and it's a pretty little thing too. However, 2 days ago the bridge just popped off. An examination of the undersurface shows that the bridge was glued on to the already finished body, with no special preparation for the location of the bridge. Glue was only seen on parts of the bridge. It was sloppy and showed a lack of attention to detail. I bring it up because I read another review elsewhere about this same problem. It's an easy fix and I will keep playing and enjoying it, but my next uku will definitely be Hawaiian.

I own this ukulele and LOVE it. It sounds great even to my untrained beginner ear BUT I must say that even my uke teacher loved the quality of the sound. It also looks great. I will buy new strings soon 'cause I think the strings that come with it are not great quality.

After researching for many weeks various brands and models of Soprano ukuleles, I finally discovered the Cordoba line of instruments. I have seen and played their 20 & 25 series of ukes, as well as the new Cordoba Guilele. All have been superbly crafted and play well with rich, warm tones. I can unequivocally recommend the 25SK. It's handsome, rustic good looks; materials; craftsmanship; playability and tone makes this a winner. As lovely as it sounds now, I can hardly wait for it to "open up" even more over time, as all solid wood instruments will. I love mine!

Its nice soprano, but cant compare to concert uku.Mar 19, 2011

Compared to cheap soprano ukuleles, this one does have a shinier sound. Also looks great.
The reason i gave 4 is because its sound is not as good as a Concert ukulele. I have a cheaper concert ukulele, and it sounds richer and deeper.
Dont get me wrong, this sounds great for a soprano. Its just I expected it to outperform my cheaper concert uke.
