Dean Edge 10 P&J Active Bass Guitar Classic WhiteOct 21, 2010
By Rod Hammer Got my Bass today! WOW! It was in tune right out of the box and bubble wrap, and the action was low the intonations are spot on! This guitar sounds great right out of the box, I plugged it into my amp and fell in love. The tone is amazing I have looked a long time for a Bass with this kind of tone variations the Bass has a twang to it and deep lows at the same time I had to use pedals to get this sound before! I would buy this one and this is a professional bass I have played basses costing 10 times more money and this bass blows them away 100%. I don't think I will ever by another bass unless it is a DEAN!!!! I guess I got my wings! -Rod Hammer, Smokin'Vega Band, Ohio
Record time delivery, nice soundJul 26, 2011
By Miles Kendrick I place the order for this on the 14th of July, and the delivery date was between July 22, 2011 - Aug. 1, 2011. I got my bass on the 22nd of July, which is way faster than I expected. It was nicely packed, the turning was fine right out of the box, and the sound is amazing. It might take a little to get the G string correctly, but once you get in the beat it's great. And the volume knobs for each string is awesome. I recommend this.

"golf nut"
I was looking for a "beater" to replace my old Yamaha to just tinker around with (my Fender Jazz is reserved for formal playing)and came across this Dean bass with active P and J pick-ups. I must say, I am impressed with this axe! Pretty solid body with a nice finish to the neck, and surprisingly limited hum when the active pick-ups are torqued to the max. I was able to replicate the "piano sound" I used to achieve on my old Yamaha within just a few minutes. The intonation needed a little adjustment, but you can't expect everything from a bass at this value. All in all, I am very satisfied so far with this bass, and would highly recommend it to both novices and experienced players like myself who just want something to muck around with on a day to day basis.
