| Dean gold-covered humbuckers, Tune-o-Matic bridge with thru-body design. | Get your wings. | Rik Emmett Signature Model The Rik Emmett Signature V is a limited run of only 100 guitars worldwide and is expected to sell out fast. Each guitar will be hand signed by Emmett and comes with a certificate of authenticity and an autographed photo of him, circa 1983, playing this famous guitar. The price includes a hardshell case. Mahogany Body Dean uses a mahogany body for most of its contemporary guitars. Mahogany is a common choice for electrics, dependably delivering a warm, full tone with plenty of punch and sustain. The body, neck, and headstock are fully bound, plus it looks sharp all dressed up in gold. Set Neck Construction This V model features a set mahogany neck, which imparts all the well-known advantages of that style: a warmer overall tone with extended low-end response, wicked sustain, and easy upper-fret access. The 24-3/4-inch scale neck features an ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays. Dimarzio Super Distortion Humbucker The Super Distortion, debuted back in the '70s, was one of the first pickups specifically designed to kick a tube amp into total overdrive, and is still an industry standard for high-output humbuckers. The Super Distortion has a perfect blend of power and tone, with single-notes and chords getting equal emphasis, and it delivers thick, boosted mids, big lows and fat highs. It's a true classic, and one of the best all-round high-power pickup ever made. As with Emmett's original model, this one features only a volume control. Back it off for a little nuance, or dime it for serious gain. Grover Tuners If you play guitar then you know what this means--solid, dependable tuning from the industry standard. These guitar machines are a triumph in engineering and style, with a gear ratio of 14:1, perfect gear meshing, and zero backlash and slippage. The gear box has a special lubricant for lifetime, trouble-free service. Tune-o-Matic Bridge A Tune-o-Matic bridge with string-thru body design provides even more sustain, along with precise intonation for your tuning preference. The classic v-shaped plate mirrors the headstock wings for some nice vintage Dean style.
