Great Girl GuitarDec 25, 2009
By richardbtws This guitar is extremely solid, the tone is awesome, and the color is exceptional. I purchased this guitar for my 5 year old daughter since she is really involved with the Disney stars like most kids her age. The Daisy Rock brand is getting to be a fairly recognizable and respectable name and since it's endorsed by artists like Avril Lavigne, and Miley Cyrus I figured it would be something she would enjoy! She absolutely loves it and obviously I know a 5 year old would love anything you give them but her face really did light up when she saw it. I was extremely surprised when I started to play it, especially since the pickups, from what I understand, are the daisy rock brand and they sound great!
Please don't be fooled by other reviewers of this guitar. I browsed a few of the reviews for the debutante series and there were a few misleading such as the customer who had a string break and he needs to "tighten" the rest of the strings so it doesn't happen again. Strings break, it should not bring down the quality of the guitar since it has nothing to do with it.
I have been playing guitar for at least 5 years now and own 4 guitars, all of which are high end. I have played telecasters, les pauls, sgs, you name it. This really is a nice guitar for any girl looking to get into guitars so don't pass it up!

Amazing for the price, great starter guitar for girlsOct 09, 2010
By Flaherty This is such an amazing guitar for the price. My daughter began guitar lessons and I didn't want to get her the standard starter guitar. I was really impressed with the build and the price. It sounds fantastic as well. If you're looking for a starter guitar for your daughter I highly recommend this one. If your child is really small (10 & under) skip this for now and go with the Fender Squire Affinity Series Mini Strat Black Finish because this will be too big. This guitar is beautiful, well made, and sounds great. Once she wears this one out though expect to spend several hundred on her next guitar. This should do a beginner for 1-2 years if she's serious.

Rock CandyAug 11, 2009
By SoccerCRAZED I recieved my Debutante Rock Candy guitar today by Ups. It didnt come in any fancy box or anything just simple cardboard with little padding inside to protect the and guitar. I am 15 and this is my first guitar Ive always wanted to learn how to play, and this guitar was only 90$ with free shipping (not including amp). The guitar was slightly damaged and out of tune when I got it, the palstic and wood was chiped on the back of the body. Im not to worried about it but just a warning, thats why I give it 4/5 stars. besides that minor problem everything is fine it sounds great in my marshall mg10 practice amp and I know Im going to have it for a long time. hopefully ;)
