Cheap Price, Cheap Drum (poorly put together)Nov 26, 2009

The dholak was not strung the way it was in the photo also I think the makers must have ran out of cord because they just tied another piece on and because of this I can't completely tighten it. Again in the photo they show the extra cord tied into a handle but my cord was just hanging.
The varnish is extremely cheap (It comes off if you run your finger nails over it lightly.)
TIP: If you decide to buy from this dealer when your tightening this drum make sure to pull the ring completely off of the drum until you pull it to the right spot.(or else you'll have a line of missing varnish)
That being said it sounded great after I added more rings and thats what matters most to me. (that being said I have no prior experience with any dholak drum)
You get what you pay for and it was a cheap price so I'm not terribly upset but I WONT be buying from this dealer in the future.
