Very Good Harp for the PriceSep 16, 2008

I was a bit nervous about buying a harp in this price range, but this harp looks really nice in person and sounds great. The harp is easy to tune - well, as easy as any new harp - and the strings ring out when you play - they sound wonderful. I'm very pleased with my harp every time I do a glissando on it :)
I had a question and emailed the manufacturer, and got a helpful response within a day.
The only con with this harp is that the sharping levers aren't great quality - they're okay for now, but a couple of them dampen the strings a little. I plan to replace them in the future, but for now they're good enough to learn how to use them and play some songs.
One thing that may be important to know is that the weight of this harp is listed incorrectly. Mine isn't even 20 - it's light and easy to handle even when carrying for a while, and I'm a 5'3" woman.
The bottom line - if you're looking for your first harp, don't have much space or a nice budget carry-around harp, the Heather is winner!
