4Good Guitar for the moneyJun 03, 2011
By GuitarDude
Someone else said the guitar sounded like the soundtrack to a horror movie. LOL I've played guitar for 20 years and picked up one of these at a yard sale. It's 6 years old and for as cheap of a guitar as what it is, it is decent! I was actually surprised at how good it sounded for the price I paid. Plus, it's just a "student" guitar, one to learn on. But it's smaller size makes it easy to carry around. I mean, it doesn't have the sound quality of my Fenders or high end guitars, but you can definitely play it and it has a decent sound. The fretboard is a little short, I'm used to playing my Charvelle Superstrat with 24 frets, so it's a reach even for me to hit the first octave. The fretboard is slim and you don't have to apply 10lbs of pressure to touch the strings to the frets. I like it. I don't regret buying it at all. It would be a decent guitar to learn on if you were on a very slim budget. But if you could come up with another 100 dollars or so, you could get a much nicer guitar, like the previous reviewer stated. It's by far the least expensive guitar I've ever played, but it actually is not the worst sounding. I give it 4 stars simply for what you get for the price!

2horrible sound.Apr 13, 2009
By Scott Kiehlmeier "SLydia"
I got this guitar over a year ago. It has a got that sorta depressing, ugly horror movie sort of sound to it. I would not suggest you to buy this ever. I would suggest getting a guitar by a much more known brand instead, such as a good Yamaha guitar thats about $150-$250. This guitar is the worst guitar I have ever heard and even a good guitar player will not sound good on it.
