5Good optionFeb 27, 2007

As a strict vegetarian I've never been comfortable even attempting to blow a standard shofar. This one is an amazing replica (if I didn't tell most people, they'd never guess it is faux) and has a good tone without the foul animal smell of the regular horns. I am VERY happy with the purchase -- now I need to practice!

5Fun and spiffyJun 26, 2007

This is a fun product. It takes some practice to learn how to play. Make sure you can exhale forcefully. Of course you cannot expect to play a "song." But the deep resonante toot is satisfying. They did a nice job on the manufacturing. The color and sturdynes is nice. It makes a great conversation piece.

1Disappointment At First GlanceOct 17, 2011
By Islandcopout
Given the price of kosher Yeminite Shofars I was willing to order this first out of curiosity. Upon opening the box I was met with instant disappointment. This is literally made out of cheap plastic, the kind used to make children's toys. The coloring is nothing like a real shofar and it isn't going to "fool" anyone. The sound it makes is commensurate with the cheap material it is made of. This is the type of item you might find in a childrens toy store and should only be sold as such for no more than $1.99. Run, don't walk away from this and save up your hard earned dollars for the real thing.

3Sorry Cedar... ^~^Sep 22, 2009
By Winny "the Winston"
Once upon a shallow forest... you know, the ones that the city has excavated of all life except the few exceptional trees that signed a charter willing to live.
How come you don't see this? Well, obviously, their roots have a very active imagina- writing life.

Unfortunately, in the upper lairs, they're not so stable. As a city counselor and diplomat between the Woodspoke and Milowaulkeens, I tried to shake hands with an old, synthetic oak, Cedar.
In our hands interlacing, my foot made a crunch to the root of her middle rootlet. She wasn't happy as her arm engrasped my body, launching it across the treeless shallows of Everfar Oblivity.

Where was I?
Oh yes! I woke up the next morning with one of her enchanted roots, the Shofar, Synthetic, Mahogany Finish.. Ofcourse, first I stood up like Zelda holding it in the air. Well, why was this item interesting?
then I placed a tip in the depth of my ear canals, there was a message, was it from Cedar?
"Play me, Play me", she eased in a dying wish.
I remembered the proephecies as child. Mother told me over Chestnut Coke binges that one day the trees and pees (people in Woodspoke) would one day unite under the Mahogany Finish.

This item is sacred - Fact.
I lived past Cedar's words - Fiction.
At this moment, my soul types a dying review to Amazoners Commoner's, asking for a soul to fulfill my wish, her wish, for the creation of Atropolis.
Will you buy and blow my horn?
