6" tunable rosewood tambourineDec 03, 2011

Looks and sounds very worldly like a bongo with jingles. I purchased the 10" also which is equally amazing in look sound and tunning range. I purchased 12" rosewood sticks also which make it twice the instrument, and makes it sound even more worldly if you choose. It might have tiny goat hairs on head in some cases, but that means it's a real skin, it's not a defect. In my opinion makes it more authentic. also the 6" has 10 sets ( 5 sets of double row)of jingles, not 8 as mentioned.

i cranked the head ,giving it a more true middle eastern / indian sound . i love it !!
