1VERY UNHAPPYMay 17, 2006
By C. Brown
I was very unhappy with the quality of this product and I plan on returning it. A professional was unable to tune it for me due to the pegs not working properly. I would say the only thing this violin is good for is to look at. It is pleasing to the eye but not to the ears. I will not order another, but I do plan on spending more money to get a better product.

3Good value for beginnersMay 06, 2006
By T. Palmer "Tamika"
The item arrived really quickly and that was a nice surprise. The bridge does not come intact, but it is really easy to put in place. There is a problem with the pegs as they do not stay in place and consequently you have to continually readjust and do not get the tone that you need to. The case is not the same, the one I received came with a red velvet interior. Otherwise good value for your money as a first time violin.

3ViolinJan 25, 2007
By Cailey Galanodel "Cail"
I am just beginning violin which is why I wanted a cheaper violin to practice on. The sound is reasonable, though not nearly as good as a more expensive violin. I am having trouble with it staying in tune, but this gets less as I play the violin more. I absolutely love the color. I would recommend this to anyone who is just starting out on violin and is not yet sure whether or not they will stick with it.

5I have found true love...Mar 16, 2007
By Tony Lawton "The Musician"
I ordered this violin on a Sunday and it managed to make its way to me by the following Thursday. I loved the condition that it came in: perfect. It didn't have a single scratch or defect as far as I'm concerned. The case it came in is great as well. In fact I wish that I had one exactly like it for my trumpet. I have no complaints. I don't understand what the big deal about installing the bridge is... It truly is a simple task that takes under 3 minutes. I would buy from this company again.

Maybe it's not the best, but it is a beauty, and it is a good value for the price.

4good 1st violinMar 08, 2007

for the price and the eye candy factor you can't go wrong. it's a bit hard to tune, but that's more from me not knowing how to do it properly. good sound, but definitely will need to upgrade if i decide to do anything other than play at home.

For me as a begning student, it's made me very happy so far.
