OUTSTANDINGFeb 20, 2011
By HonestAnonymous X. For once, I now have hum and noise free sound without resorting to buying 9V batteries for my pedals. The fully isolated power outputs work great. It mounted nice and out of the way under the Pedaltrain PT-1-HC pedalboard. I would not hesitate to buy this again!
For those who say it's not versatile, maybe they didn't read the manual? Each channel has a selector switch to vary the options -- the options vary per channel. In a nutshell you can get 9V, 12.3V, and 14.5V with the stock purchase. Or you can buy one of the adapter cable which allow you to couple two outputs to get 18V or 24V, or double the current. The are two outputs that can be adjusted continuously from 4 to 9V for the drained battery sound. Probably still some pedals this can't power, but I think it's amazingly versatile.
Download the manual from the Voodoolab website, and check it out to see if it will work for your pedals.

This the best there is!Feb 26, 2011
By Bluesmanlane Bought this to power all my pedals on my new Pedaltrain Pro pedal board. This thing is awesome! All of my effects sounded much more clear than ever before. No noise, no hum, only clean isolated power for 8 effects, plus you can use Line 6 and other 18v pedals. Absolutely worth the money. Don't buy a cheaper brand. You "always get what you pay for." And for my money, this is the top of the line.

Does what it is supposed to.Jun 07, 2011
By Hunter I bought this along with the Pedaltrain 2. They go together great, and I haven't had any problems. I only wish that it came with an 18 volt wire. I had to buy that seperately for one of my pedals, which is inconvenient.

Great clean powerFeb 05, 2012
By Benjamin J. Bradshaw I've tried running multiple pedals off of multiple wall wort style AC-DC converters, and I couldn't believe how loud the hum got with just two running. Now I have 6 pedals running at the same time with no hum. Well, if i turn on both my distortion pedals (an Electroharmonix Little Bug Muff Pi and a Robert Keeley modded Boss DS-1) and turn them all the way up, then I get hum. But that is probably from the pedals and not the power itself. It is just a simple, easy to use way to power all your pedals, and keep your sound clean. I have a mix of analog and digital pedals, and because the power outputs are isolated it doesn't make any problems for the pedals. The cables that come with it give you plenty of options, though most modern pedal builders just use that Boss barrel style plug. The power cables are only about 18 inches, so you are going to have to keep your pedals close together, but what do you want them far apart for anyways? This thing is durable as far as I can tell, but I haven't really been throwing it around, jumping on it, or pouring liquids on it. Just treat it how you would treat any of your stuff (with respect, that is) and I'm sure it will last a good long time.
This combined with the Pedaltrain is perfect!May 21, 2012
By David Tripp I really appreciate thoughtful design no matter what it is! VooDoo Lab and Pedaltrain have a winner here! I have a Korg Pitchblack tuner, crybaby, micro amp, modified overdrive running into a morley quad box. That feeds directly into my two Marshalls. Then I run an effects loop through a chorus and delay. I have a five switch box and a two switch box for my Marshalls. All of this is arranged nicely on my Pedaltrain Pro with room to expand at least two more effects. The VooDoo Lab box powers all of this nicely with no noise. I couldn't be happier with this setup!
