Great valueDec 03, 2008
By Rohit Sharma Background: I'm a guitar student, and use a metronome while practicing to keep good timing.
First of all, I would highly, highly recommend using a metronome while practicing your instrument. If you can establish good timing while playing, it makes such an amazing difference to how good you sound.
This metronome specifically came recommended by my guitar teacher because it reliably produces a strong, clear, beat. So far, it hasn't disappointed. If you don't need extras like a built-in tuner or headphone jack, then I think this is a great purchase.
Also, it's good to note that the metronome looks very reddish-brown in the photo, but it's more of a dark brown in reality.

Great metronome with volume controlDec 06, 2007
By S. Ellis The thing I love about this is the volume control. For louder pieces you can turn it up to still hear it over the piano. You can have it be very soft if you just want a faint reminder of the beat. Easy dial on the base. Plus it looks classy on the piano.

Works great, Very happy with this purchaseMay 23, 2010
By Stephen Rogers This item works exactly as described. I did read in some reviews that the numbers for the tempo setting are hard to read. I had no trouble with this, if you can read the print in a regular book you should have to trouble reading these numbers. The volume is loud enough for practicing with a guitar.

stylishMay 06, 2010
By S. Sung I bought this metronome for my kids who started lessons this past fall. They think it is a cool gizmo and find it user friendly (they are 6 and 8). I remember my old metronome when I was little that swung back and forth so this one seems a little high tech to me--I love the wood grain--it is much darker and more chocolate than the photo shows (it does not look so orange in reality)--almost like ebony stained oak-and it is not so glossy--mine is more matte. I have a mahogany grand piano and it doesnt detract from the piano at all. I dont worry about it scratching the piano when I rest it on the surface. The volume is good and the choice of tones is fun as well. Easily portable. Highly recommend it!

Great metronomeOct 26, 2009
By J. Tramp This metronome has a cool design, easy to use with the dials on the bottom and the light on the top and the click make it a great buy. No complaints here- great choice for a metronome.
